WHAT IS TRE®?

TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a powerful method for relieving stress, anxiety, and trauma by releasing deeply held tension in the body. It helps unravel chronic patterns of stress and tension stored in the muscles and discharges stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol by activating the body’s natural ability to shake. This shaking process occurs by accessing the body’s tremor mechanism, which exists in all mammals and is the most natural way for the body to come down from the fight-flight-freeze response.
